Argentine Tango is a dance of a musical kind which was born in Argentine, spread to Uruguay and then to the rest of the world. Argentine Tango differs according to the time period and region which is danced. The most characteristic movement in the Argentinian Tango dance is its proximity or closeness with the partner while embracing. This embrace could be either very open or closed. In the open embrace the leader and the partner only touch their hands whereas in a close embrace their chests are in touch with each other. The latter is the most popular way of dancing the Tango and it is considered the traditional Argentine Tango. It is an intense and passionate dance which is acquiring more and more fans worldwide.
